If you are an "American Idol" fan, there was also reason to cheer, literally. I hope you joined me in cheering aloud when Sanjaya got the boot, he should have been voted off several weeks ago and the top 7 isn't quite as bad as it could have been. I would have really been pissed if LaKisha(also in the bottom 2) was voted off because she is at least top 4 material and I really want her to sing a Bon Jovi song May 1st.
Just to give you a heads up, next weeks results show is the 2 hour "Idol Gives Back"(Wednesday Fox 7) special which is actually a pretty impressive undertaking for such a popular show. The show will be raising money to help kids in America and Africa affected by poverty. The best part of the show may be when Sasha Baron Cohen makes an appearance as Borat, but I think Quincy Jones's song, which he wrote for this show, could give him a run(and I think this could become a top selling single in hours-witness the power of the Idol)
Then on top of an already great night, you throw in that opening scene of "Lost" and follow it up with a full great episode. This was yet another fantastic story that didn't feature one of the original survivors. I love the way this show has picked up the pace of the action but is still giving us new questions and mysteries. And I don't know if you noticed, but Kate is hot.
I am going to the Green Festival on Saturday and I hope to learn a lot and even some tips to bring back to you. If you are wondering what exactly a "carbon footprint" is, here is a great page for you to read. Yahoo! is now officially carbon neutral. I would like to see more companies take a stand like this, and I would love to see all Chicago sports teams to become carbon neutral. If we are going to get the Olympics we should truly set an example and be as Green as possible by then. Get to it Daley!
The Killers new video for "Read My Mind" has them going on a sweet bike ride, I would love to go on a ride with such a variety of bikes.
I also want to recommend "October Road" again, I feel like it can't be much longer until they bust out some Jovi. You can watch the last 4 episodes here.
I really feel like rocking out to some "Don't Stop Believing" to celebrate Buehrle's night!

Sorry -- posted this on the wrong message accidentally. For a second last night (1.2 innings), I thought Buehrle was going to throw back to back no-nos. Still, a good game for the Sox -- they've played well in the clutch latey, yesterday's ninth inning excluded.
