In preparation for the "Friday Night Lights" season finale I am going to stick with the sports theme for a little while.
First off, I need to pass on some info that I heard from Laurence Holmes, host of the The Me Show(the best show on 670 The Score). In Madden 2008, Devin Hester(his version of the 7th inning stretch awful, but he sure is good at returning kicks) will be the first player ever to have a 100 speed rating.
Speaking of Laurence, he has a new Farmio remix available on the Score's website. What is a Farmio remix? Well first first of all, Ed Farmer is the radio voice of the White Sox, and last year Laurence took several things that Farmio regularly says ("yeah", "go crazy", "grill") and integrated them into songs you know(Beatles "She Loves You"-with multiple Farmio yeahs, Prince "Let's Go Crazy" and Nelly "Grillz"). They have all been hilarious, but as of right now only the current "Hollaback Guy" is available, once I find them I will share them.
I am a big fan of AM 670 overall(it doesn't hurt that they broadcast Sox games), but any baseball fan should be listening to the Steve Stone show every Monday from 4-6. Steve Stone is the best analyst in baseball and he talks Sox and Cubs in addition to analyzing all of baseball. Even if you are not in Chicago or you just can't listen to the radio, the score is available streaming online.
Due an overwhelming fear of the Lyons mixed relay team, they have been ruled out of the State meet because of a "paperwork error". Hopefully we can find a way to get them in, but you can watch a very amateur video of their recent gold medal winning race.
In the spirit of continuing to be Green, check out this site where you can affordably become carbon neutral.
AH+ worked, I woke up today and felt pretty good, but I think I may still have to do some more product testing.
