Tonight's Highlights

You should already know about, and be excited about, NBC's lineup for tonight, but in case you have denied my suggestions, here you go.
"My Name Is Earl"(7 NBC)(1 Hour Premiere), "The Office"(8 NBC)(1 Hour Premiere) and "ER"(9 NBC) make it very easy on your remote if you are a 1 show at a time person. Back to back hour episodes of Earl and Office easily combine for the best 2 hours of comedy on TV, and ER seems to find a way to still be relevant (even with some silly storylines).

If you like using your DVR to broaden your horizons and take in mass amounts of TV, here are some other alternatives.
"Smallville"(7 The CW) kicks off the season with the introduction of Supergirl.
"Reaper"(8 The CW) the pilot replays tonight, so if you missed it Tuesday, check out this fun show.
"Big Shots"(9 ABC) looks like it could be pretty awful. It seemed like a good idea, make a male version of "Desperate Housewives", throw in some good actors (Dylan McDermott, Josh Malina, Michael Vartan and Christopher Titus) and cover with drama. The problem is the guys seem like assholes and their drama is pretty boring.

Some other stuff that's on, the rest of the ABC lineup, Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy, and CBS's lineup, Survivor, CSI and Without a Trace. Don't tune to either channel tonight, its just not worth it.
