The only reason I watched "Gossip Girl" (Wednesday The CW 8) is because Kristen Bell is the narrator (and me and Veronica have something special). But I actually kind of liked it. I could have done without some of the over the top spoiled teen drama, but New York will be a good environment and Kristen's narration as the unknown Gossip girl blogger adds some extra tension to this teeny bopper drama. I have to admit, the fact that the nice quiet guy gets the hot girl in the first episode has me liking it more than I would have thought. The show is created by Josh Schwartz, the creator of "The O.C." (and the new show "Chuck") and while there is no "welcome to the OC bitch" line, there is a similar standoff and definition of character that sets the series in motion.
