But I feel the need to alert you to a cool Live Earth special on MyNetworkTV Friday night at 7.
I don't know why this concert footage hasn't been used more often. It would be incredibly easy for NBC to take that footage and come up with a weekly Live Earth show. They could play entire concerts of some of the bigger acts and a song or two from a couple other acts, they have hours of PSAs and short documentaries from the original broadcast that could fill time. Best of all they could bill it as a "Live Earth event" which would draw in some more green companies to fill ad time. This concert was a big thing, but its almost forgotten, if showing some popular band is a way to get peoples attention back on saving the world I am all for it.
While showing this on a little known "network" isn't going to get much attention, at least they are trying. I am interested to see how they package this, a music event that hapens to be about the environment, or a environmental event with artists that support the cause and are using their fame to draw attention to their cause.
