It turns out that my entire life centers around "soft addictions"(TV, procrastination, Monster and the computer to name a few). I admit I have a problem, but I am not yet ready to do anything about it. This is yet another example of the sacrifices that I am willing to make for the betterment of society, and each of you.
Speaking of addictions, once "your team" is out of the NCAA tournament, it is time to turn to alcohol and gambling as the reasons to keep watching. Although I still have a chance to win in my bracket(Florida has to beat Georgetown in the final), even this is not enough to keep me interested. The thing that could save the tourney this year is that it is the "chalkiest sweet 16 since '98"(according to Dan Bernstein on 670 The Score). This means there are a lot of low seeds remaining, which means there is a good chance that college basketball could actually be exciting and enjoyable for the next 2 weekends.
If you rely too heavily on the alcohol to get you though the tourney give AH a try, its a anti-hangover beverage that is available in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
