Eventually they will get it right

This season NBC will be offering 4 of their pilots on demand for about 2 weeks before the actual premiere. The pilots for "Chuck", "Bionic Woman", "Journeyman", and "Life" will be available Sept 10th on "virtually every major cable and satellite system in the country".
This (along with being the lead-in for "Heroes") will give Chuck a head start on the 10 other new shows premiering the week of the 23rd. There will be 35 hours (not including reality/game shows) of new television airing from Sept 23-28. This makes it nearly impossible to catch all of the new shows with out dropping some favorites.
Its a stupid system.
Hopefully all the new shows will streaming for free on the network sites, this would let you watch at least the pilot for every new show you have interest in. But otherwise there are going to be some good and smart TV shows canceled because of scheduling conflicts.

I highly recommend trying to catch up on the first season of "Friday Night Lights" before the season premiere Friday Oct. 5th at 8. You can still stream all episodes on the NBC website, or you can wait for the DVD release on Aug 28th. Right now you can preorder it at Amazon for only $20 (serious no brainer for that one), or if you're not sure you'll like it, you should at least get Disc 1 at the top of your Queue now.
The same goes for "Heroes". Well, except Heroes isn't still streaming on NBC.com and I'm assuming you have already seen it. But if you want a refresher for the premiere on Sept 24th, it will also be released on DVD Aug 28th, and is available for $40 at Amazon and at Netflix.

I don't know if anyone else watched "The Nine" last fall, but you will be able to watch the final episodes online. The Nine was about the 9 hostages in a bank robbery, with scenes from the robbery being shown in flashbacks as the robbery gets pieced together and Scott Wolf was one of the stars (I always have to support Bailey). It was pulled back in November but ABC announced they were going to air the final episodes during August, only to pull it again. Now the final episodes will be released online, with 2 new episodes already available.

Yeah, she turned down a recurring role in "Lost" and ended up with a recurring role on "Heroes".
I think it will be great to have her on the show, especially now that we only have to wait until October, instead of Feb/March for Lost! Plus its a good move for both Kristen Bell and Heroes (Unless every Veronica Mars fan is already watching Heroes).
Also, I like to think of it more as, we are in love, she just isn't fully aware yet.
Here's an article from the Tribe about the announcement
