Everyone has traditions for Thanksgiving, usually starting with several drinks on Wednesday and ending with shopping or just recovering on Friday. But the Thanksgiving high usually stalls on Saturday. Does anyone actually do anything on this day?
Well here's something to fill your day besides turkey and stuffing sandwiches.
Starting at 9AM on Saturday, G4 will be airing the first 14 episodes of "Arrested Development".
That's 7 HOURS of Bluth family fun.
If you have never watched the show or not "gotten" the show before, then this is the perfect way to give it a try. I recommend recording all the episodes if possible so that you can watch them at your own pace. By the 4th episode you will either love or hate the show. One of the best things about the show is how it builds its own comedic world. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor for all of the "in" jokes that you may not have gotten before.
Reruns of Arrested Development are more enjoyable than just about anything else on TV. I am a big fan of watching random episodes on weeknights on G4 at 10:30.
Arrested Development is not only one of televisions greatest shows, but the Bluth family may be TVs best family(My apologies to the Salingers, Keatons, Huxtables and Seavers). I hope that this could become a Thanksgiving Saturday tradition, but I would at least like to get a few more people on the inside of a great show. Watch it.
